A wonderful time! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms immaculate, the hot tub was great, and the people were wonderful! Can’t wait to go back.

i have to say, this is a great hostel! cool, laid back, clean, friendly (even dog friendly w/ a kennel out back). the staff is great, the area has lots to do and the hostel itself is clean and well equipped with hi speed wifi, big screen tv, and even a hot tub on the back deck. steps away from a cool pub and close driving distance to absolutely beautiful hiking. i had a great time there and highly reccommend it.

What can I say… I had the best time at Bon Paul and Sharky’s! It’s a great hostel, and it’s clear that Joe has taken all the best bits from the hostels he’s stayed in in his travels and put them in West Asheville. Great bar called the Westville 2 mins walk from the hostel with good live music, good laundry up the road (with a great pool hall next to it, so you can “shoot sum” while washing your dirty undies!) All the staff made us “funny talkers” welcome, and one (Jeremy) even went out of his way to give me lifts to my next destination in return for gas money and a few beers!
